Making History at Clyde ARC

Founded in 1865, Clyde Amateur Rowing Club is one of Scotland's oldest clubs. The club has played a significant role in this classic, demanding and rewarding sport, in both Scottish and British rowing history, of which we are very proud.

Some of the highlights of our heritage are found within our History section, however we also recognise that a club must continue to challenge itself and grow, in various areas, in order to create tomorrow's history.

The club today has a strong base of members whose focuses vary, but have a single common theme: to enjoy rowing at Clyde ARC. In this way, the club has a positive and lasting impact on its members.

We recognise our members and their contribution to the club as well as to the sport of rowing. Whether they are competing, organising, or supporting, they are flying the flag for Clyde ARC and Scottish Rowing.

In this section therefore, notable events and performances are listed for people's interest and information.

We have initiated this section with the club's past and present high level performers over the last 30 years, who have been making history at Clyde ARC.

We hope you enjoy this information; please check back later for information on the non performance events at Clyde which are making history.
